Download Exness — what the install covers, and what stays in the account area (the Philippines)

Where to download Exness on Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows PC — and why that choice sets the screen you trade on rather than the route a withdrawal request travels.

Choosing what to install decides where you place orders, not where your money travels. A withdrawal request is raised in the Exness account area, which opens in a browser on any device, and it then moves through four stages: raised on your side, reviewed on the broker side, sent onward, credited on the receiving side. Installing the app, MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 adds no stage to that route and removes none.

Which file matters, and for what

Pick by the screen you want in front of you, because none of these files changes what happens to money afterwards. On a phone the Exness Trade app (Android and iOS) is the shortest path to a chart. On a computer MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 installs on Windows and macOS for advanced charting, while the Exness Terminal runs in any browser with nothing to download at all. Google Play and the App Store are the official app sources; an APK from a third-party site such as apkpure is not recommended for a financial app. Whichever of them ends up on your machine, a withdrawal request still starts in the account area and still passes the same four stages.

Four stages sit behind one request

A request to take money out is not a single event. It is raised in the account area, it is reviewed on the broker side, it is then sent onward, and it is finally credited on the receiving side. Each stage belongs to a different party, and only the first one belongs to you.

The stages do not run in parallel. Nothing is sent onward before the review finishes, and nothing is credited before it has been sent. When a request feels stuck, it is almost always resting inside one of these four stages rather than lost between them.

The install decision sits outside that chain entirely. A phone app, a desktop platform and the browser terminal all point at the same account, so a request travels the same route whichever of them happens to be on your screen.

The amount you can request is not the balance line

Part of an account can be committed to positions that are still open, and that part stays committed while they remain open. A request draws on the free part of the account, and the free part grows again as exposure is reduced or closed.

This is the ordinary reason a request cannot be raised for the full figure a trader has in mind. Nothing is wrong with the account and nothing is wrong with the installed program; the arithmetic simply looks at the free part and stops there.

Because that arithmetic lives on the account rather than on the device, the same limit appears on a phone, on a desktop machine and in the browser. Downloading a different file does not move the boundary.

What the platform carries, and what it does not

MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 are trading platforms. They carry orders, charts and the state of the account, and they do not carry money in or out. A withdrawal request is raised in the Exness account area, which is reachable in a browser with nothing installed at all.

That split answers a question people bring to a download page more often than any other: no file has to be downloaded in order to take money out. A download is only ever a decision about how you want to trade.

The return leg mirrors the funding leg: up to the amount that was funded, money goes back the way it arrived, and anything beyond that amount is arranged separately. The route is a property of the account, so it is the same on every screen you sign in from.

How a request travels away from your screen

  1. Reduce or close whatever is holding the free part of the account below the figure you have in mind.
  2. Sign in to the Exness account area — the same account area on a phone, on a laptop or in a browser tab.
  3. Raise the request there rather than in the trading platform: MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 carry no screen for it.
  4. Point the return leg at the way the account was funded, up to the amount that was funded.
  5. Confirm. From that moment the request sits on the broker side and your part of the route is finished.
  6. Wait out the two stages nobody on your side controls: the review, and then the crediting on the receiving side.

Available routes, limits and timings differ by account and by region, and the current terms are shown inside the account area before a request is confirmed. This page describes the shape of the route, not the terms of any single one.

The installed program appears nowhere in this table, and that is the point: a download changes the screen, not the route.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything to take money out of the account?
No. The request is raised in the Exness account area, which opens in a browser. Downloading the app, MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 is a decision about how you trade, not about how funds move.
Can a withdrawal be requested inside MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4?
No. Those platforms carry orders, charts and the state of the account. They hold no screen for raising such a request, so the account area is the starting point on every device.
Why is the amount I can request smaller than the balance line?
Because part of the account can be committed to positions that are still open. A request draws on the free part, and the free part grows again as exposure is reduced or closed.
Does the route change if I move from the phone app to a desktop platform?
No. Both point at the same account, and the route belongs to the account rather than to the program on the screen. The four stages are identical either way.
Which stage usually takes the longest?
The two that are not on your side: the review on the broker side, and the crediting on the receiving side. Both run after the request has left your screen, and neither depends on which file was downloaded.
Does money come back the way it was put in?
Up to the amount that was funded, the return leg mirrors the funding leg, and anything beyond that amount is arranged separately. The current terms are shown in the account area.
Is the browser terminal enough if I only want to move funds?
Yes. The browser terminal needs nothing installed, and the account area sits in the same browser, so both ends of the task are reachable without a download.
