Leaving a Windows PC on through the New York session
The desktop terminal installs on Windows in the ordinary way and stores templates, timeframes and indicator settings locally. Reopening it restores that workspace instead of a default screen, which is the main practical difference from opening a browser session from scratch each evening.
The Philippines is at UTC+8. The European session opens in the late afternoon and the North American session late in the evening, so a machine that stays powered from the end of the working day onward covers both without being restarted. Windows power settings are worth checking here: a computer that sleeps on a timer will drop the connection, and the sleep timeout, not the terminal, is what decides that.
A machine left signed in overnight is a machine anyone can sit down at. A Windows account password and a screen lock with a short timeout are the ordinary protections. The same account can also be opened from a phone, so the desktop can be the main workspace without being the only route to it.

If you would rather not install a desktop app, the Exness Terminal runs in any browser on the PC with nothing to download. MetaTrader gives more advanced charting and automated trading; the web terminal starts without an install.
